Abstract

The Michael F. Adams Papers contain materials relating to his time as vice president of university affairs at Pepperdine University. The collection is primarily composed of materials relating to the Board of Regents, development and giving campaigns, and scheduling. Materials date from 1965-1989.

Abstract The Associated Women for Pepperdine (AWP) was started in 1958 by Helen Young and a group of women united in their belief of the importance of Christian education. AWP members conduct fundraising events such as dinners, auctions, and bake sales each year in order to provide students with scholarships to attend Pepperdine University. The collection contains printed material, photographs, and audiovisual material created by and collected about the Pepperdine Associates. The items are primarily related to annual dinners, including programs, invitations, photos, and video recordings.

Items range in date from 1937 to 2008. The bulk of the collection is comprised of 1,744 topical photographic files (approximately 50,000 photographs).
