Related Archival Materials

Almost every collection held in the University Archives contains photographs of events, people related to Pepperdine University, places on campus, and other topics. It is possible that items are split between individual collections and this collection (Pepperdine University Archives Photographs, Negatives, and Slides). For instance, there are many photographs of commencements in the Pepperdine University Commencements records, but files also exist in this collection.

Photographs from the files numbered 1 through 1,744 are being systematically digitized and added to the Pepperdine Digital Collections, in the University Archives Photograph Collection (http://pepperdine.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/).

Processing Information note

Photographic files were arranged and described at the folder and item level by James Smythe, completed in 2002 and 2003. The collection contents were summarized and described for the finding aid by Jamie Henricks in January, 2013. Photographs were removed from collection to be integrated into other collections by Kelsey Knox in July, 2015.
