The collection contains printed materials, photographs, negatives, and audiocassettes from the Great Issues Series at Pepperdine from 1970 through 1987. Themes addressed in speaker presentations focused on pressing issues of the time, primarily in the areas of policy and economics. Speakers included individuals known in their fields, many of which later went on to play important roles in government or policy.

The collection consists of interoffice memoranda and correspondence that document the administrative activities of Pepperdine Provosts from 1965 to 2006.

The collection was created by Pepperdine University librarians and consists of 95 publications produced or published by Pepperdine University from 1945 to present.

The collection contains materials produced by and related to the Pepperdine University School of Continuing Education. Items in the collection include a press release, brochures and course offering flyers, teacher evaluations, photographs, and other printed materials. Materials in the collection range from approximately 1972 to 1976.

The Pepperdine University School of Law records consist of items produced by and related to the law school at Pepperdine University. Materials in the collection include brochures, invitations, symposium and conference proceedings, photographs, alumni directories, audiovisual materials and bulletins specific to the School of Law. Items in the collection range from 1969 to 2014.

The collection contains materials produced by and about Pepperdine University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) on the Los Angeles campus. The bulk of the material dates from 1972 to 1981. Materials include general files about the School of Professional Studies, photographs of the Los Angeles campus prior to its sale, and files about the SPS's Division of Human Resources (HRM) programs.

The collection includes correspondence, financial reports, memoranda, and other materials related to the universities' strategic planning from 1977 to 1997.

Earl Vivon Pullias was a professor, administrator and scholar of higher education. The collection includes materials that document his positions at Pepperdine College and the University of Southern California, his academic career and research on higher education, and his personal and family life. Materials in the collection range from the 1910s to the early 2000s.

Papers and photographs belonging to Russel N. Squire (1908-1997), professor of Music at George Pepperdine College 1937-1956 and professor of Philosophy 1972-1978.

The collection contains materials related to Hugh M. Tiner, first dean and second president of George Pepperdine College and member of Rotary International. Items include subject and correspondence files (biographical materials, certificates of appreciation, ephemera and photographs, speeches and publications, radio program transcripts, and travel ephemera); newspaper clippings; plaques; and memorabilia.
