B. Lamar Johnson Papers
B. Lamar Johnson was a highly distinguished educator known as the father of the community college
due to his extensive contributions to the study and development of community college education. The collection contains correspondence, reports, speeches, administrative papers and publications from Johnson's tenure at Stephens College, UCLA, and Pepperdine University, as well as other educational organizations and activities with which Johnson was involved.
Edwards H. Metcalf Papers
Edwards H. Metcalf was a collector, a Pepperdine University Board member, and a T.E. Lawrence enthusiast. He chaired the T.E. Lawrence Symposium in 1988 at Pepperdine University, which gave scholars the chance to discuss the life and works of T.E. Lawrence. The collection contains planning materials and documents from the symposium, as well as book collection records belonging to Metcalf.
Marnie Duke Mitze Papers
The collection contain various subject files kept by Marnie Duke Mitze during her time at Pepperdine, from 1992-2019, as a Managing Director and then Chief of Staff. The types of material include correspondence, administrative documents and forms, studies, plans for events and trips, third-party reports, and official Pepperdine pamphlets and CDs related to special events.
James C. Moore Papers
James C. (J.C.) Moore was an administrator for a number of colleges, serving most notably as controller and vice president for Pepperdine University. The papers contain correspondence, subject files, memorandums, articles, photographs, news clippings and programs related to Moore's career in education as well as his personal life.
Elinor Oswald Collection of Southern California Tourism Ephemera
The collection includes a wide variety of tourist ephemera relating to Elinor Oswald’s professional career as a tour guide. The bulk of the collection consists of brochures, maps, artist files, travel books, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, itineraries, business records, photographs, slides, negatives, and other materials that helped Elinor plan the tours. The materials date from 1968 to 2009.
James I. Penrod Papers
The collection includes files collected from James I. Penrod's office between 1970 and 1985 during his time as Vice President for Systems and Planning at Pepperdine University. Materials include correspondence; organization charts; a systems and planning orientation manual; Pepperdine management conference papers; memos; committee meeting minutes and correspondence; an article by Penrod; and other items.
Pepperdine Associates Records
The Pepperdine Associates is a Pepperdine University support group comprised of donors, alumni, and community friends, started in 1977. The collection contains printed material, photographs, and audiovisual material created by and collected about the Pepperdine Associates. The items are primarily related to annual dinners, including programs, invitations, photos, and video recordings.

The Pepperdine University Bible Lectures collection includes paper materials (including programs, correspondence, and other items) and audio recordings taken during Pepperdine Bible Lectures held in Los Angeles (beginning in 1943) and Malibu (beginning in 1973).
Pepperdine University Athletics Records
The collection contains materials related to and produced by Pepperdine University Athletics and its predecessor at George Pepperdine College. Items range in date from approximately 1939 to 2013, and primarily include game programs, sports schedules, brochures, newspaper clippings about athletes and events, photographs of teams, videocassettes, and memorabilia (including uniforms).

The Pepperdine University catalogs, bulletins and schedule of classes consists of publications produced by Pepperdine College and Pepperdine University for current and prospective students, ranging from 1937 to 2013. Materials in the collection include a variety of brochures advertising the programs and student experience at Pepperdine, course descriptions and degree requirements, and schedules of classes for individual terms.
