C. Great Lakes Christian College, 1960 - 1975

Jerry enrolled at Great Lakes Christian High School (Great Lakes Christian College) in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada in the Fall of 1959. He was a student there for three years (grades 11 through 13). His experiences at the school had a significant influence on his later life. It was during his time at the school that he gave his first talk in daily chapel on October 8, 1959, and during his second year he began preaching for area churches. He also attended his first Bible Lectureship program on the campus in January 1960, and it was at Great Lakes where he first became interested in the history of Churches of Christ and the Restoration Movement.
