Biographical / Historical
Jerry was a doctoral student at the University of California, Santa Barbara (1972-1977). He wrote a doctoral dissertation entitled Political Disciple: The Relationship Between James A. Garfield and the Disciples of Christ (August 1977) and graduated with a Ph.D. in American Church History.
