Loyd C. Sigmon Papers
The collection contains materials created by or about Loyd C. Sigmon from 1945 to 2008. Items relate to his interest in radio broadcasting, the creation of SigAlert (a traffic and emergency alert system), and his inventions. Books, plaques, articles, newspaper clippings, biographical materials, blueprints, and notebooks, are found within the collection.
Hugh M. Tiner Papers
The collection contains materials related to Hugh M. Tiner, first dean and second president of George Pepperdine College and member of Rotary International. Items include subject and correspondence files (biographical materials, certificates of appreciation, ephemera and photographs, speeches and publications, radio program transcripts, and travel ephemera); newspaper clippings; plaques; and memorabilia.
Lena Torslow Hansen Papers
Lena Torslow Hansen is a Danish ceramic artist and Scandinavian arts advocate. In 1981,the Franciscan Friars of the Serra Retreat commissioned Torslow Hansen to design installations of fire-salvaged Malibu Tile at the Serra Retreat. This collection documents Lena Torslow Hansen’s work from planning diagrams and research on the Serra Retreat, Malibu Potteries, and the Adamson House at the Serra to photographs of the installed tile.
Tyler Ecology Award Records
The collection contains materials related to the Tyler Ecology Award, including award banquet programs, newspaper clippings, financial records, photographs, and an oversized scrapbook for the award years 1973 through 1979. Also included are photos of John and Alice Tyler (the award's founders) and a memorial speech for John Tyler given by M. Norvel Young. Materials range in date from 1971 to 1981.

Items range in date from approximately the 1923 to the 1974.
William Pereira Collection
The collection contains the drawings, final master plans, meeting notes, and correspondence surrounding William Pereira's work to design the Pepperdine College campus at Malibu. It also includes articles, speeches, and Pepperdine library events that range from 1969-2025.
M. Norvel and Helen Young Papers
The collection contains the personal and professional papers of M. Norvel and Helen Young. The bulk of the materials range from the 1900s to early 2000s and document the Youngs' involvement with Pepperdine University; their families' lives; and their activities while based in Tennessee, Texas, and California.
