The collection includes a wide variety of tourist ephemera relating to Elinor Oswald’s professional career as a tour guide. The bulk of the collection consists of brochures, maps, artist files, travel books, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, itineraries, business records, photographs, slides, negatives, and other materials that helped Elinor plan the tours. The materials date from 1968 to 2009.

As a part of Pepperdine University's 50th Anniversary celebrations in 1987, the university entered a float into the 98th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
