The collection contains materials produced by and about Pepperdine University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) on the Los Angeles campus. The bulk of the material dates from 1972 to 1981. Materials include general files about the School of Professional Studies, photographs of the Los Angeles campus prior to its sale, and files about the SPS's Division of Human Resources (HRM) programs.

The collection contains mainly printed material and photographs produced by and related to the School of Public Policy at Pepperdine University. Items in the collection include recruitment materials such as programs, flyers and brochures; project and event programs; publications; news releases and projects; VHS tapes; photograph CDs; and other printed material. Materials in the collection range from 1996 to 2015.

The collection contains mostly printed material related to or created by Pepperdine University's undergraduate college, Seaver College, dating from approximately 1970 to 2010. Items include brochures and information about admissions, conferences, lectures, departments, and international programs; articles; handbooks; exam schedules; calendars; maps; photographs; Malibu campus history; and other materials.

The collection documents aspects of students' experiences at Pepperdine. Materials in the collection include publications prepared for and by students; materials related to student organizations, activities and events; and photographs, scrapbooks and memorabilia from different eras. Materials range from 1937 to 2014.

Earl Vivon Pullias was a professor, administrator and scholar of higher education. The collection includes materials that document his positions at Pepperdine College and the University of Southern California, his academic career and research on higher education, and his personal and family life. Materials in the collection range from the 1910s to the early 2000s.

The collection contains the personal and professional papers of Frank R. and Blanche Seaver, philanthropists who greatly contributed to the evolution and success of Pepperdine University. The materials range from 1882 to 1996 and document Blanche's involvement with Pepperdine; Frank's business, the Hydril Company; Blanche's former career as a composer and musician; and their personal lives.

The collection contains materials created by, collected by, and about conductor and composer Joseph Wagner. Materials include music scores; symphony orchestra sheet music; loose music manuscripts; vinyl records; audio and video recordings; subject and correspondence files; photographs; Wagner’s publications; and colorful sheet music covers. Items range in date from approximately the 1923 to the 1974.
