Margaret Martin Brock Papers
Margaret Martin Brock was a philanthropist who had a long-standing relationship with Pepperdine University, particularly the School of Law. She was also highly involved in fundraising for the Republican Party throughout most of her life. This collection includes correspondence, subject files, photographs, and newspaper clippings about Margaret Brock, her involvement in politics, and her philanthropy.
Charmlee Wilderness Park Records
The Charmlee Wilderness Park is a public 532-acre park in Malibu, California that contains over 8 miles of hiking trails, a nature center, native plant displays and picnic areas. The collection contains administrative records, photographs, maps, archaeological findings, park docent training materials and documents about the history of the park. Materials date from 1958-2013.
James K. Hahn Papers
James Kenneth Hahn has served in numerous public office positions including Deputy City Attorney (1975–1979), City Controller (1981–1985), City Attorney (1985–2001), and Mayor of Los Angeles (2001-2005). The collection includes press clippings, press releases, Hahn's mayoral files, budget books, business plans, audio and video recordings, awards and plaques, as well as personal memorabilia. The bulk of the materials date from 1990 to 2006.
John Merrick Collection
John Merrick was elected Judge of the Malibu/Calabasas Judicial District in 1964 and served on the bench until his retirement in 1986. Judge Merrick was also heavily involved in the community of Malibu from the time he moved there in the 1940s and started a number of important Malibu organizations. This collection contains a range of materials both in format and subject related to his professional life as Malibu's Judge and his work in the Malibu community.
Marnie Duke Mitze Papers
The collection contain various subject files kept by Marnie Duke Mitze during her time at Pepperdine, from 1992-2019, as a Managing Director and then Chief of Staff.
