Scope and Content From the Series: The series consists of photographs taken by Hanson during his service in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. The photographs document Williams' time at Fort Ord, Fort MacArthur, traveling by boat from Korea to Japan, and his time stationed in Korea. Williams was assigned to the Signal Corps as a war photographer when deployed to Korea.
