Scope and Content From the Series: The series contains photographs (color and black and white), scrapbooks, and slides collected by Helen and M. Norvel Young throughout their life. A large portion of the photographs are family photographs ranging from the early 1900s to the early 1960s. While most of the family photographs were collected by Helen, one box of photos was originally from a box labeled as being from Anne Beattie Smith and Franklin Young (Norvel's sister-in-law and his brother).
