Historical note
In 1937, two students proposed Graphic as the name for the school newspaper as it contained the initials of George Pepperdine College (GPC). To this day, Seaver students have the opportunity to work on the nationally acclaimed weekly newspaper. The student body relies on the Graphic to get the facts on campus issues and events. Produced by a relatively small group of driven information gatherers, artists, and writers, this quality publication comes out every Thursday afternoon during the school year.
