Scope and Content
The James C. Moore papers include materials from 1934 to 1971 that document Moore's personal life and professional career. The bulk of the collection focuses on Moore's career at Pepperdine University from 1958 to 1969, and includes correspondence, subject files, financial records, staff memorandums, articles and news clippings. Also included in the papers are photographs, correspondence, articles, programs, notes, and news clippings related to Moore's previous jobs at David Lipscomb College and Harding College, his missionary work, and his personal life. The papers also include a large number of photocopies of Moore's papers from his time at David Lipscomb college as both a student and staff member.
