Scope and Content
The sub-series includes correspondence, notes, historical information, editing work, advertising files and account statements related to the magazine 20th Century Christian and its later branch publication, the daily devotional guide Power for Today. Materials in the series span from the creation of the magazine in 1938 to the early 2000s.
Co-founded by M. Norvel Young, 20th Century Christian, later re-named 21st Century Christian, focused on bringing discussion and encouragement to young adults in the Churches of Christ. Power for Today was founded in 1955 by Norvel and Helen Young, to provide greater encouragement for family devotion.
