Soviet/American Writers (Also Manousos Project), 1984-1990

This file contains newspapers and reports. Some of the materials are about a book called The Human Experience: Contemporary American and Soviet Fiction and Poetry. This book was prepared by the Quaker US/USSR Committee, and contained writings by both American and Russian authors. Dr. Anthony Manousos, an English professor at Seaver College, served on the Joint Editorial Board of the Quaker US/USSR Committee and also worked on this book alongside his Russian colleague, George Andjaparidze. There are also materials about the US/USSR Writers' Conference, where American and Russian writers meet with one another.
