A. Bible Lectures, bulk: 1943 - 2016
Scope and Contents
Pepperdine University's Annual Bible Lectureship began in 1943. Every year, church members are invited to attend several days of classes and lectures on campus in Los Angeles (beginning in 1943) and Malibu (beginning in 1973). In 1982, Jerry Rushford became director of the Bible Lectures. His tenure, the longest in Pepperdine's history, came to an end after 30 years in 2012. The Bible Lectures sub-series contains material from Jerry Rushford's time as director, as well as some historical records that he collected from before his tenure. The sub-series consists of mostly paper materials, with two CDs in the 2004-2005 photograph folder.
