Scope and Content
The collection contains television scripts from fifty-eight shows including Bonanza, The Big Valley, Fantasy Island, Gunsmoke, Have Gun-Will Travel, Marcus Welby M.D., Police Story, Star Trek, and The Virginian. These shows, and many more were written or produced by Ingalls. The scripts range in date from 1957 to 1992. While the western genre is most prevalent in this collection, crime dramas, sci-fi, and comedies are also included. In addition to final scripts, first drafts and working drafts are included. Memos, budget sheets, cast lists, and other production materials can be found with the Fantasy Island and Have Gun-Will Travel files.
