Abstract

Published from 1943-1946, "On the Beam: Dedicated to the Young Pepperdiners in Service" sought to maintain ties with Pepperdine alumni in the military and Pepperdine students who paused their education in order to enroll in the military. During WWII, many young people involved with Pepperdine served in the military, and this bulletin was read by undergraduate students and faculty in order to hear updates on their friends in the military.
