Scope and Content

The series contains correspondence, meeting minutes, notes, reports, proposals, memorandums, and calendars produced by the Seaver Faculty Association (SFA) and its various committees regarding faculty issues such as tenure, salaries, benefits, faculty handbooks, faculty retreats and general operations of the SFA. While the name and number of committees in SFA varies over time, committees with materials in the series include the Executive Committee, Rank, Tenure and Promotion, Stipends/Benefits, Faculty Advisory, General Education, Academic Affairs, and the Dean Search Committee formed in 2008. Also included are materials from the Faculty Organization of Seaver College (FOSC), which was the faculty group that preceded the SFA before its establishment in 1995.
