Scope and Content

The file consists of correspondence mainly pertaining to Frederick Rindge's business with Malibu Ranch. Topics covered include purchases of crops, sales of wool to the Angora Robe and Glove Company, and having a telephone installed on the property. Additionally, there is a letter dated 1938 addressing May K. Rindge's plan to build a yacht harbor at Point Dume, a draft of an advertisement for a mousetrap, and an article on cheerfulness by the Conservative Life Insurance Company, which Mr. Rindge founded. Materials include print and originals.
