 File — Box: 2

Scope and Content

From the Collection:

The collection contains files on real estate properties sold or rented by Pepperdine University primarily in the 1970s and 1980s. The majority of the records were sent to, from, and between Pepperdine employees Paul L. Harris (Vice President of Financial Planning) and Warren M. Dillard (Senior Vice President for Finance). The properties were located mainly in Los Angeles, with the majority of the remaining properties located around California. A handful of other properties were in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, and Washington. Some properties were originally given to the university, intended to be sold for profit to benefit Pepperdine. The files contain paperwork, correspondence, and copies of deeds (including exact location information) of properties sold. Some files also include photographs of the properties.
