Scope and Content

Most of the letters are from William (Bill) Webster to his parents, Nellie and John, while he was at the Urban Military Academy in Los Angeles or at Camp Curry in Yosemite National Park. The letters discuss the activities he was involved in, the family's health, and financial matters. In addition, there is a letter with two family photographs from Bernice and Wilfred Christlieb. The couple appear to be the niece and nephew of John and Nellie Webster. Lastly, a letter from the Waterworks and Utility Division of the county of Los Angeles to its new customers regarding the company's take over of Deer Path Mutual Water Company of Malibu is included.
